ABOUT KATE.
Kate Flitcroft is an auctioneer, award-winning gemmologist (FGA) and silver specialist. She is head of Jewellery and Silver for Lyon & Turnbull in London. She can be seen in the current season of BBC's Antiques Roadshow. Kate is a ten-year veteran of Christie's and the auctioneer of choice for multiple specialist departments. Kate sells across diverse categories from jewellery and silver to furniture, works of art and collection sales. In June 2016, Kate achieved a prestigious "white glove" sale, selling 100% of the Dr Hans Sachs collection at Christie's.
Kate has raised over £2.5 million for charities. She works with corporations, charities, museums and institutions to meet their fund development goals. Kate is active in London's non-profit community. She served as a Charity Director for three years and a Charity Trustee for two years.
Based in London, Kate auctioneers across Europe, in Russia, Asia and the Middle East. She has experience with various formats from cocktail events to gala dinners for over 800 guests. From major donor funding to corporate social responsibility, Kate is well-acquainted with the unique challenges of philanthropic fundraising.
