Kate Flitcroft is an auctioneer, award-winning gemmologist (FGA) and silver specialist. She is head of Jewellery and Silver for Lyon & Turnbull in London. She can be seen in the current season of BBC's Antiques Roadshow. Kate is a ten-year veteran of Christie's and the auctioneer of choice for multiple specialist departments. Kate sells across diverse categories from jewellery and silver to furniture, works of art and collection sales. In June 2016, Kate achieved a prestigious "white glove" sale, selling 100% of the Dr Hans Sachs collection at Christie's.
Kate has raised over £2.5 million for charities. She works with corporations, charities, museums and institutions to meet their fund development goals. Kate is active in London's non-profit community. She served as a Charity Director for three years and a Charity Trustee for two years.
Based in London, Kate auctioneers across Europe, in Russia, Asia and the Middle East. She has experience with various formats from cocktail events to gala dinners for over 800 guests. From major donor funding to corporate social responsibility, Kate is well-acquainted with the unique challenges of philanthropic fundraising.

Kate has worked with some of the top FTSE 100 corporations, including Barclays, Deutsche Bank AG and Vodafone. She enjoys working alongside companies with great spirit and a commitment to corporate social responsibility, like Aveda.

Some of the UK's largest charities (NSPCC, MenCap) and many of London's public schools are among Kate's clients. She particularly enjoys working with new charities and watching them grow over the years. Honeypot, Autistica, RSPCB, Farm Street Church, Duchenne UK, Care for Children and Womankind are just a handful of her clients.
